Arabic & Islamic Studies for Women

Hi, I’m Chaimaa, the Founder and Director of the Academy.

My journey in education and Islamic studies has been shaped by years of learning, teaching, and a deep passion for the Arabic language and the Qur’an. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Qur’anic and Hadith Sciences from Abdelmalek Essaadi University in Tetouan, and I am currently completing my Master’s degree in Religious Sciences, with a focus on Issues of Methodology and Renewal at the same university.

My connection with the Qur’an and Islamic education began at an early age. I studied within the traditional Islamic education system and memorized the entire Qur’an, learning it through the traditional method under the guidance of my teachers. This experience became an important part of my educational journey and continues to influence the way I approach teaching today.

I have been teaching for several years, including one full year at Tanger Institute, followed by independent teaching where I have worked with students from different backgrounds, both Arabic and non-Arabic speakers. I have also had the opportunity to teach in several Moroccan educational institutions, including Aisha Umm Al-Mu’minin within the traditional Islamic education system.

Languages have also played an important role in my journey. I speak Modern Standard Arabic, English, French, Urdu, and Hindi fluently, and I have an intermediate level of Turkish. Being able to communicate with people from different linguistic and cultural backgrounds has helped me understand that every student has a different way of learning, and that language should be made accessible rather than intimidating.

I founded this Academy because I wanted to bring together everything that has shaped my own journey: my studies, my experience with the Qur’an and Islamic sciences, my teaching experience, and my knowledge of different languages. I wanted to create a learning space where students from different backgrounds can learn Arabic in a clear, structured, and engaging way, while also developing a deeper connection with the language and the Islamic tradition behind it.

For me, teaching is not simply about giving information. It is about helping students understand, communicate, build confidence, and genuinely enjoy the learning process. Whether you are beginning your journey with Arabic or looking to deepen your existing knowledge, my goal is to make that journey meaningful, accessible, and well-structured.

Through this Academy, I hope to share what I have learned, continue learning alongside my students, and build a community of learners connected by a love for Arabic, the Qur’an, and knowledge.
